Booking & Cancellation Policy
Skin It is by appointment only. Your experience with Skin It is our top priority with your desired date and time reserved just for you. We understand unpredictable circumstances, however, arriving late to your appointment affects other clients' appointments and will not be acceptable. A card on file or deposit is required at the time your reservation is made. The booking and cancellation policies are as follows.Cancelling Less than 24 Hours BeforeA 24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling and rescheduling your appointment. This allows other clients to book the appointment slot. Cancelling less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service amount with the card on file or forfeit deposit. After more than two occurrences, you will be required to pre-pay in full to book future services.Late ArrivalIf you are running late, please call or text. If Notice is not given within 10 minutes of your reserved appointment time, you will be considered a No Call No Show. If you manage to arrive late, but still within the 10-minute window, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that the time for your service will be shortened to accommodate guests to come, so their service will begin on time. No ShowNo Show policies are strictly enforced. You will receive confirmation texts & emails and reminder texts & emails prior to your appointment. These notices are reminders of your upcoming appointment and give you a chance to reschedule. This will be seen as you choosing to forgo your appointment and is not in line with mutual respect between the provider and client. No Shows will be charged 100% of the service amount with the card on file or forfeit deposit immediately after the 10-minute window discussed under Late Arrival. After one, No Show, you will also be required to pre-pay in full to book future services.Scheduling ConsiderationsWe ask that our female clients take their menstrual cycle into consideration before booking their waxing appointments. We ask this because Skin It will wax all female clients who are on their period, therefore we do not consider this a reason for last minute cancellations. If you do not want to get waxed on your period, please consider your cycle and schedule accordingly. Don’t forget your tampon!
Maintaining The Studio Environment
No GuestFor your safety, no outside visitors are permitted in treatment rooms (i.e., infants, pets, boyfriends/girlfriends, etc.). We love kids!!! However, children are not permitted. We have many breakables. Mirrors that are fun to smack, open spaces that call to the young heart to run back and forth in, dangerous equipment that looks fascinating to touch, etc. Our studio is a cell-phone free zone. Kindly take your calls outside the building to avoid disrupting other clients. All sales are non-refundable!
